Ingredients
Dry
- 1 lb Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1.5 cup Vegan mozzarella shreds
- 0.5 cup Vegan sausage crumbles
- 0.25 cup Vegan pepperoni (sliced)
- 0.5 cup Green bell pepper (chopped)
- 0.25 cup Red onion (thinly sliced)
- 0.5 cup Cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 0.25 cup Black olives (sliced)
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
Wet
- 0.5 cup Pizza sauce
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
Method
- 1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
- 2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
- 3. Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper or a greased pizza pan. Lightly brush the edges of the dough with olive oil.
- 4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.
- 5. Sprinkle the vegan mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
- 6. Layer on the vegan sausage, vegan pepperoni, green bell pepper, red onion, mushrooms, and black olives. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the top.
- 7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the vegan cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Chef's notes
To help the vegan cheese melt better, lightly mist the top of the pizza with water before placing it in the oven. This creates steam that encourages melting.
